The Happy is the new surfboard from the Channel Island factory for this 2019. It is a high performance model designed for fast and hollow waves, giving its best version when the waves are of quality, thus replacing the FR2 in the Californians Catalog.
Britt Merrick, son of the shaper Al Merrick and who now runs the factory, has created this model thinking of offering total freedom to the surfer, making it easier to draw turns on the wave wall, as well as grab the rail on the tube.
The most striking features of the Channel Island Happy are a low entry rocker for a high performance board, which together with the slightly delayed volume provides extra paddling ease and speed. The rails, very lowered, are those that offer an exceptional behavior in the tube, as well as its thin and slightly trimmed tail gives it a characteristic speed in the changes of direction.
At the bottom of the board we find a concave that originates in the area of the front foot, which slides to the area of the fins. Where it becomes a double concave that comes out flat at the tail of the board. This gives the board a lot of speed and control in the wave, in addition to generating more explosiveness in the maneuvers.Happy patch
The Happy Patch is the novelty of this model, where the carbon fiber in the tail is replaced by fiberglass patches. The reason that has led Britt Merrick to make this change is the lightness it provides, but above all, the flex that the tail area acquires. Responding in all maneuvers and making tight turns more electric, having a greater responsiveness in changes of direction.
Although only a blue patch is visible, the Happy Patch covers the rails of the tail with two patches: one blue for aesthetics, and the other white. That together with the foam of the board, it is less visible although it maintains all its properties.

-At Tablas surf shop you have available one free size change, providing the product is not subject to a special offer and it has not been more than 24 days since reception of the product.
-In case the product is on sale (special offer) you can change for another size if you take care of the shipping costs of sending the product to our facilities. We will send it back to you for FREE.
04 Am I allowed to return or change an order?
-At Tablas Surf Shop you can return or change a product until it has been 100 days since its reception.
-I order to get a refund you have 14 days since its reception.
